The 20 students of Creative Academy, the Richemont Group’s Milan-based international school of design, created a collection of wooden objects during the Design Week of Milan. Under the supervision of Alberto Nespoli and Domenico Rocca of Eligo the students employed marquetry and woodturning techniques in collaboration with two exceptional master craftsmen: Giordano Viganò and Carlo Meloni.
The project has been developed with the Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art in collaboration with the Poldi Pezzoli Museum and with the support of the prestigious Maison Van Cleef & Arpels.
This one of a kind postgraduate program gives 20 talented young designers the rare opportunity to transition directly from the classroom into one of the most prestigious luxury institutions worldwide, the Richemont Group. With both theory and professional training, the Academy helps students apply their creativity to the creation of luxury items.
