6-4-6 Almost Blue-B Minami Aoyama Minato-Ku, 107-0062 Tokyo

The Molteni Group continues the strategic expansion of its sales network in the Japanese with the opening of the new Dada Flagship Store in Tokyo, in partnership with Arflex.

The new space is located in the famous Minami Aoyama district, the garden of which backs onto the gardens of the Nezu Museum, the masterpiece designed by Kengo Kuma, and is next to the Molteni&C Flagship Store.

The two spaces open onto a unique lounge which involves visitors in a veritable compound of over 700 sq.m, offering them an all-round immersion in the Molteni world.

The approximately 400 sqm Flagship Store, designed by Vincent Van Duysen develops over a single level and hosts a broad range of Dada kitchens.

Distinguishing elements of the space include the transparencies created by huge windows, a signature feature of the Belgian designer, and now an established part of Molteni&C|Dada’s coordinated image, along with the green areas represented by large glasshouses. Most of the decorative elements have been created ad hoc, using innovative materials, indicating the designer’s determination to set a new display standard to enhance the furniture and kitchens. Natural and sophisticated materials, such as glass, bronze, raw metal, the chiaro scuri of the sand and warm greys, alternate with luminous touches of green, thereby defining the stage starring the most recent Dada kitchens: VVD, Prime, Hi-Line Frame Door, Trim, Vela and the Slide kitchen by Armani/Dada.
