Good design is ageless, it lasts through time without anything superfluous. These are the formal values that define TIMELESS, the outdoor collection by GANDIABLASCO designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, president of the company and the creator of some of its most emblematic collections, together with the architect and designer Borja García. With TIMELESS they have come up with a simple design featuring: quality and durable materials, clean lines and neutral colours. The collection is an homage to the essence of what design is, without artifice.


The collection

The name of the collection is a declaration of intentions. The designs of TIMELESS are inspired by the Rationalist architecture that became popular at the beginnings of the 20th century, transmitting a simple elegance, from its very foundations. The strength of the collection is its sobriety and comfort, with nothing unnecessary, neither ornament nor added extra.

“The idea of discretion was key to achieve a piece of furniture that can be integrated in such a way that we have now managed to do,” according to Borja García at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, where the collection was launched. José A. Gandía-Blasco Canalesdefines TIMELESS as a collection “that aims to appear rather than be permanently present.” Lending it an ageless expression thanks to the durability of the design and its materials, both physically and formally based on its enduring design.

TIMELESS is composed of six modular sofas that allow multiple configurations, as well as its different loungers, two armchairs, sofa, pouf-chair, modular pouf, easy chair, high and low stool, high tables and benches. It objective is as simple as its lasting comfort equally appropriate for contract applications as for residential gardens and terraces.



Although the design of TIMELESS aims at being ageless its materials can be described as belonging to the latest innovations for outdoor furniture: powder coated soldered aluminum, lending it great lightness and functionality, combined with Teak timber, a highly resistant natural material that performs exceptionally under the elements.
