Award winning designer kitchens with inventive solutions that help make cooking more enjoyable and living more beautiful, can now be experienced in The Netherlands. With flagship stores in New York City, London, and Beijing, SieMatic has expanded their list. On Thursday September 25th, SieMatic opened their new flagship store in Amsterdam. On the corner of the beloved Vondelpark, SieMatic creative director Kathrin André and CEO SieMatic Ulrich W. Siekmann officially opened the new store. Together they cut the orange ribbon in presence of their guests from the architecture, interior design, and lifestyle world. OBJEKT©International was there to join the celebration.

The SieMatic flagship store is a monumental building beautifully situated in the Hobbemastraat, next to the entrance of the Vondelpark. It is not a regular showroom; this store is all about Timeless Elegance. Presented in distinctive style rooms and decorated based on the SieMatic lifestyles Pure, Urban, and Classic. The Appliances Room introduces you to the latest equipment and accessories. These different interior designs are styled together with partners Walter Knoll and Co van der Horst to fit your way of living.

For the building and interior itself SieMatic worked with designer André Backemeier (Head of Corporate Architecture / Design at SieMatic) and interior designer Perry Hanssen. Other partners who were present at the opening are Gaggenau, Siemens, Franke, KWC, Arte and Jetstone, Bang and Olufsen, and Oscar Ono.
