‘Nativ’ Collection

For 2019 Roche Bobois presents the ‘Nativ’ collection designed by Raphael Navot. The collection embodies Roche Bobois’ key values of creative audacity and high-quality manufacturing. Raphael Navot is passionate about the use of traditional skills, so our collaboration allowed him to work with our network of European craftsmen who are renowned for their excellence.

“I wanted to use high-quality natural materials as much as possible: not only solid wood, but wool, cotton, ceramics and mineral coatings. These materials create a warm, welcoming atmosphere while also offering true comfort.” – Raphael Navot

This expertise is much in-demand in the contract market. Hotels, restaurants, co-working spaces: the credibility and legitimacy of the Roche Bobois brand is increasingly expanding into these markets. The Fauchon hotel in Paris for example asked the brand to design the ‘Gourmet Bar’.

Mah Jong going outside

New for 2019 is the new outdoor version of the Mah Jong sofa designed by Hans Hopfer. Since its creation in 1971, this iconic model has continued to reinvent itself. Its modular components allow endless combinations.

The metal base with randomly perforated pattern supports the cushions with new fabrics from Missoni Home. There are trays on the sides and behind the seat cushions to hold all outdoor accessories, such as sunglasses and towels.
