Toronto’s Interior Design Show is soon approaching and will showcase the hottest design trends from both international and Canadian-based artists.  The team of trend hunters collected a scope of international talents, including Jonathan Adler, Thom Filicia, Marlon Blackwell, Alexa Hampton, Sebastian Herkner and Philippe Malouin will join this year’s show. The powerhouse speakers joining the 17th edition of IDS15 (Interior Design Show) will bring their notable experiences; insider knowledge and international perspectives to the Caesarstone Stage from January 23rd until the 25th.

In addition, IDS15 comes with another worldwide debut: its first collaboration with Philippe Malouin Studio. The Canadian-Born, London based all round designer set up his studio in 2009 after working for English designer Tom Dixon and recently won the W Hotels ‘Designer of the Future’ Award and the Wallpaper ‘Best Use of Material’ Award.

In its ongoing commitment to creating new platforms for design, Caesarstone has invited Malouin to engage with its quartz surface materials, emphasizing their inherent qualities of strength, durability and design. The playful installation will contrast a minimalist and monolithic sculptural language with the idea of childhood memory and play.

IDS15 also welcomes Missoni to its 2015 show with a never-before-seen retrospective. Celebrating the iconic brand’s 60th anniversary, the installation will be brought to life by International Guest of Honour, Creative Director of T&J Vestor, MissoniHome, and Wanda Jelmini. Internationally renowned, MissoniHome – a partnership with leading Italian manufacturer, T&J Vestor brings colourful lines of indoor and outdoor furnishings, textiles, and décor is characterized by unusual fabrics, whimsical prints, and simple shapes, designed for sophisticated, artful settings.

There will be plenty more artists and speakers, IDS is not just a fair — it’s a total design experience. Don’t miss the three-day event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre this winter. Visit
