Eindhoven, September 12th 2014 – Dutch Design Week (DDW) will be all about “UP”; a theme which indicates direction. Dutch Design Week offers an international stage to designers and connects the public with the boundless opportunities of design. The setting of DDW elicits a festival feeling, which will make the event a lot more personal.
Dutch Design Week emerged twelve years ago to one of the biggest design festivals of North Europe. It is an annual event which takes place in the last week of October for nine days. It held place in Eindhoven, and connects design, technology, people and disciplines. After “Now Future”, the theme of 2013, DDW choose this year for a theme that represents direction, but also leaves room for own interpretations and insight. “UP” expresses direction, movement, and feeling.
