The biennial Révélations, The fine craft and creation fair, takes place at the Grand Palais in Paris from September 10th-13th, 2015. South Korea will be at this years event guest of honour.
The event brings together more than 305 exhibitors from fifteen countries specialized in art and crafts. Amongst these, the Nordic Craft Pavilion curated by Marianne Zamecznik will show contemporary craft objects from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
Révélations is organized by Ateliers d’Art de France.
Presided over by Serge Nicole – the president of Ateliers d’Art de France, the leading fine craft professional federation – Révélations promises to be the year’s leading cultural event. It will welcome collectors, interior architects, professional buyers, gallery owners and art enthusiasts.
Under the watchful eye of the modern art aficionado Henri Jobbé-Duval, co-founder of the FIAC, the second edition of Révélations is reasserting its quite singular identity: the demand for exemplary quality from a new Artistic Steering Committee; the Studio Gardère’s scenography focusing on openness and transparency without hierarchy; the renewal of The Banquet exhibition as the fair’s very backbone; the intensified international dimension; the relations with the art world’s public and private stakeholders; the conviction that the largest possible audience should have access to culture.
